Even though I haven't seen it myself, I have been told by more then one reliable source that all of my handspun yarn entries have won ribbons at the Oklahoma State Fair! Obviously more on that later, including pictures. But I have to get to the fair first!
I did manage to get 5 more squares done on the afghan. I'm going to set a goal for Christmas, and chart my progress here. I even got three chapters read in my library book, that I will have to renew tomorrow, and continue to earn my newly bestowed title (by the library clerk) "the queen of renewal"!

Hiya Laura!! I went looking at all the links on Lacy's blog and was so happy to find this was you. I'm impressed with the yarn and kitting that you do. (I do well to sew buttons back on!) Looking forward to keeping up with your news here. And of course, you can keep track of me if you want on mine. (nothing new here lately though, just tired all the time.)
