So, I've pretty much given up here...
Font choices are boring
background images uploading is terrible
the big white box holding this text is stupid
no room for any creativity
I spend most of my time knitting and posting here:

still not happy about this blog

I guess it's about time I put something on this blog that isn't almost a year old.
I still can't make the blog look like what I want it to look like...like it used to look before blogger made all these "great" improvements and upgrades, and at this point I just don't have the time to spend hours figuring out how to make it work. I'm really disappointed in the font selection.  Who knows how this will finally end up.
I'll work on pictures maybe this weekend and see if I can't put up some of the things that are keeping me knitting.  And soon I will be taking some day and weekend trip and I'll share all of that, too.

Well CRAP!

Nothing is more true then this little saying right now! So I log into my blog this morning to make sure I get the address correct for a form I'm filling out, only to find that my blog background is totally obliterated and most of my pictures from previous posts aren't even showing up!  WTH!!!!  As a result I have to spend an hour or more figuring out SOMETHING to make it look halfway decent before I publish the address someplace.  And I mean only halfway, cause with all the fancy smanchy stuff that they have in here, you can see that this post looks like CRAP!  What is it with these people that manage these things like blogspot and facebook?  Do they just get a real surge of power and control by totally messing with everything!
